As a Quality Assurance & Enforcement Officer, your role will have a focus on providing Quality Assured best practices for all functions of the Passenger Transport Service and Depot by managing the quality assurance functions in order to provide customer transport at the highest level to ensure a safe, punctual, economical, courteous and pleasant passenger experience with a warm and friendly manner.
Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, strict adherence to regulation and process with confidence in our services are essential in supporting the Network. The role is full time at 38 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4.45pm. Whilst this is a full-time position, flexibility for job share or part time options may be considered.
This is a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Network. We are looking for a team member with previous enforcement skills and experience and a very strong work ethic who will only accepts the best outcome and not settle for second best.
The successful candidate will be encouraged to get involved in other areas of the business which may also include training elements of the position which gives a broader approach to the position and also adds more interest. The successful candidate will work in a great team environment with an experienced team in an iconic long established local Company.
Daily Responsibilities:
* Manage Network Quality Assurance functions via the Safety Management System
* Monitor and manage the Network Fatigue Management responsibilities
* Implement, administer and maintain Safe Transport Victoria accreditation obligations
* Ensure the Company Mission & Values Principles are understood, practiced & adhered at all times
* Receive & process compliments & complaints incorporating:
* Investigation, Interviews (pax, driver & witnesses) & vehicle inspection
* Documentation & penalty follow through including retraining
* Manage STV Notifiable Incidents & NDIS Reportable Incidents
* Carry out & follow-up taxi-cab & bus inspections on a rotation basis
* Carry out random on-road/taxi rank vehicle inspections
* Carry out driver checks and maintain driver records
* Connect and disconnect drivers from the Network as required due to driver status
* Ensure GRC vehicles are always inspected, maintained, kept clean & well presented
