Family Law Specialist
The Family Law Specialist will take a leading role in delivering exceptional legal services within the family violence and family law sphere. Collaborating closely with senior management, they will integrate high-quality legal programs into all areas of family violence support services to enhance access to justice for women and children experiencing family violence.
Key Responsibilities
* Work independently on a wide range of complex family law matters
* Mentor junior legal professionals
* Participate in system-wide initiatives such as advocacy, policy development, and community education
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Hold a minimum Bachelor of Laws and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (or equivalent)
* Demonstrated expertise in relevant laws and court procedures with a focus on the family law and family violence jurisdiction
* Demonstrated experience in providing client-centric services that promote empowerment and independence for women, and safety and security for women and their children
