Synergie Australia is seeking a Facilities Works Officer for a reputable non-profit organisation in Perth.
The important parts :
Initially a 6-month temp role with potential for permanent placement for the right person.
Immediate Start
Flex hours over 75-hour fortnight
What you'll be required to do :
The role will focus on office fit-outs, end-of-lease reinstatement works, new building commissioning, leased site fit-outs and staff relocations.
To be successful you will :
Scope estimate, procure and deliver construction and maintenance projects.
Prepare and manage annual capital works / maintenance budgets.
Oversee contractor compliance including licenses, qualifications and tenders.
Maintain accurate project records regarding time, cost and quality.
Liaise with stakeholders, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with OHS legislation, building codes and company policies.
Provide regular progress, budget and risk reports.
You need to have :
Relevant construction qualification and experience.
Strong procurement and contract administration skills.
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
In-depth knowledge of OHS legislation and WA building codes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work autonomously under deadlines.
A valid C-class license.
