Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Support Associate to provide exceptional care and support to clients, enhancing and encouraging participation in their own care to maintain independence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality care and support to clients
* Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
* Administer medication as required
* Prepare meals and assist with mealtime
* Perform domestic assistance and general housekeeping tasks
* Provide social support and companionship to clients
* Travel from home to home using a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (desirable)
* Minimum 3 months relevant care worker experience (with Certificate) or 6+ months relevant care worker experience (without Certificate)
* Experience working in a home care/community setting (desirable)
* Valid Drivers' License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle
* Ability to work autonomously in the community referring to a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
