About the Role
This role is focused on supporting the efficient warehousing, dispatch, and distribution of products to customers across Australia. Working within a fast-paced warehouse environment, you will play an important role in ensuring orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time.
This role involves preparing orders for distribution through multiple freight channels to support dairy and beef farming customers nationwide. Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential to success in this position.
Expected weekly hours are 18 hours per week with typical hours being 10:00am to 4:30pm; however, this is subject to change on a weekly basis and will fluctuate due to the seasonality of the industry.
Key duties & responsibilities
* Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently
* Receive, check, and correctly store incoming stock and inventory
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
* Conduct routine stocktakes and inventory checks
* Assist with general warehouse and operational support tasks as required, including delivery vehicle maintenance and occasional administrative assistance
* Adhere to all OHS and safe working procedures
Skills required
* Accuracy and attention to details
* Ability to work autonomously but remaining within set processes and procedures
* Confident use of computers
* Fit and able to lift heavy items when packing orders – items up to 20kgs
* Working well in a team and strong communication
* Forklift licence (highly favourable but training can be provided for the right candidate)
