About the Job
The Senior Quality and Compliance Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring organisational risk management, regulatory compliance and continual improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining an understanding of relevant statutory and regulatory operating requirements, monitoring regulatory changes and providing recommendations to ensure alignment with best practices.
* Supporting the business in embedding a complete and consistent application of contemporary information management and associated processes, including quality, safety and environmental management systems.
* Conducting regular internal audits to promote, verify and report on compliance, and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
* Investigating and responding to issues and audits regarding compliance with operational contract service delivery outcomes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Identifying operational and compliance risks and providing strategic recommendations to the Manager Quality, Compliance and Workplace for consideration and implementation.
* Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and identifying opportunities for growth and development.
* Reporting and reviewing hazards and incidents to understand cause, recommend actions to prevent future issues, and monitor effectiveness of mitigations.
* Contributing to investigations and determining causes of noncompliance, irregularities and errors resulting from compliance work, driving corrective action.
