We have an opportunity for a dynamic and outgoing Catering Assistant who will work in a Café/Takeaway setting. Your goal will be to provide fast, friendly service and work with a small team to provide an excellent customer experience. You will be required to support in food and function preparation as needed, make espresso coffees, operate the point of sale system, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate the POS System
* Follow cleaning procedures to ensure all areas are maintained
* Manage stock rotation to minimize waste
* Ensure high-quality safety, hygiene, and food presentation
Requirements:
* Proven ability to deliver quality and friendly customer service
* Basic Coffee Knowledge and ability to operate a POS system (training provided)
* Teamwork and customer relationship skills
* Constructive behaviours that set a positive example
* Ability to multitask within a team environment
* High standards of food and occupational safety and hygiene
* A current driver's license
