Dynamic Hotel Technician Role
Assist the General Manager in maintaining the building, plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings to ensure a safe and functional environment for all guests, visitors and other employees.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled technician responsible for performing a range of maintenance tasks. You will be required to work well with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaks and completing general repairs.
* Assist in implementing energy-efficient practices to reduce waste and conserve resources.
* Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective action to mitigate risks.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of hotel facilities.
* Develop and implement plans to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce downtime.
* Requirements:
* Trade qualification or relevant experience in a similar role.
* Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
* Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
* Preferred Skills:
* Experience working in a fast-paced hotel environment.
* Knowledge of health and safety protocols and procedures.
