Sign Installer Job Description
The role of Sign Installer involves working at heights, installing signage on billboards, and maintaining advertising sites.
* Installation of signage on various structures, including billboards, bus shelters, and park shelters
* Onsite maintenance and repairs of existing signs to ensure they remain safe and visually appealing
* Storage and handling of equipment and materials in a factory setting
* Participation in basic maintenance activities within the factory to ensure smooth operations
Mandatory Requirements:
* Work safely at all times, adhering to strict health and safety guidelines
* Be physically fit and demonstrate knowledge of manual handling techniques
* Learn and follow instructions from more experienced staff members
* Possess a valid Manual 'C' class QLD driver's license
* Be able to read and complete WHS documents accurately
* Work every 4th weekend as part of the team's rotational schedule
Preferrable Qualifications:
* Hold a valid LR – Light Rigid license or higher for increased job flexibility
* Obtain a Working At Heights Certificate to enhance career prospects
* Possess a Construction card (White Card) to access higher-level construction projects
* Develop excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and supervisors
* Gain construction skills in concreting, site preparation, and site maintenance to increase versatility
