Key Responsibilities and Duties:
* Work collaboratively with Sales leadership and sales teams on business development objectives.
* Manage customer relationships and provide technical service regarding application and use of carbide and exotic materials.
* Regularly visit customers to develop positive relationships, network within customer organizations, and prepare proposals and quotes for decision-makers.
* Serve as the primary liaison between Precision Solutions and customers, collaborating with Manufacturing and utilizing value-added sales techniques and negotiation skills to grow market share.
* Develop and execute tactical strategies to convert leads into opportunities, perform daily and weekly business development in support of individual sales plans and objectives, and work cross-functionally to develop business into sales revenue.
* Demonstrate technical proficiency in manufacturing processes and significant product knowledge.
Requirements:
* The ideal candidate must be highly customer-oriented, have a sense of urgency, and possess strong effective communication skills at all levels of the organization.
* Able to travel up to 30% for customer visits.
* Possess a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience in comparable roles and industries.
* Experience in manufacturing environments, commercial applications, and specialized precision grinding and carbide is preferred.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to read and interpret Blue Prints, and computer skills in MS Office Suite and ERP experience (M3) are required.
