With continued growth in their client portfolio, they are now seeking an Accountant to join their collaborative and close-knit team.
About the Role:
This is a hybrid role with 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home. You'll work within a supportive "pod" structure alongside a Senior Manager and fellow accountants, forming part of a broader team of 22 professionals. Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing BAS, IAS, and financial statements
* Preparing tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies, and partnerships
* Supporting complex tax matters including Div7A, CGT, and GST across varied entities and group structures
* Liaising directly with clients across industries such as agriculture, veterinary services, hospitality, and more (turnovers up to $30M)
* Providing accurate, timely, and practical business advice to clients of varying sizes
About You:
* 2+ years' experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm
* Exposure to Div7A, GST, CGT, and FBT
* Experience working with business clients with turnover of $2M+
* Preferred software exposure: CCH iFirm, Xero, FYIDocs
* Motivated, honest, positive, and professional approach
* Accounting qualifications (CPA/CA/IPA) are highly regarded, but experience and attitude are key
