Key relationships will include Processing Operations, Technical, and Maintenance personnel. A primary focus will be resolving technical and operational issues affecting grade-recovery under the current process flow sheet. The position offers an 8/6 or a 5/2/4/3-day shift roster. The Role The role's main outcomes include effective project management, stakeholder engagement, managing R&D projects, understanding technical aspects, and applying process knowledge to identify issues. You will complete medium-scale projects aimed at cost savings, increased revenue, and improved product quality.To succeed, you should have a degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or Mineral Processing, with at least 3 years of experience in base metal operations, including grinding, flotation, and dewatering. Experience in project management and process improvements is essential. A strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are required. Being a team player with a positive attitude and problem-solving skills is important. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary, and experience with ERP and OSI Soft PI is highly regarded.
