About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Integrity Specialist to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the mechanical integrity of our plant and equipment. As a specialist, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, performance checks, repairs, and upgrades to ensure optimal plant performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform proactive and seasonal maintenance tasks, including inspections and performance checks, to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
* Respond promptly to breakdowns and repair or replace failed mechanical components to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
* Report mechanical failures and suggest improvements to reduce repeat issues, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
* Collaborate with operators, electricians, and engineers to troubleshoot and identify problems with new or unfamiliar equipment, ensuring smooth integration into our operations.
* Manage and restock maintenance inventory as needed, maintaining an efficient and effective maintenance program.
* Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and objectives, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong technical knowledge and skills in mechanical maintenance and repair.
