**About our Opportunity**
We are seeking an ambitious and talented individual who is keen to advance their career within Corinthian Doors and to develop their business experience skills by assuming responsibility for local and international purchasing within our Supply Chain team.
This position requires someone who will bring discipline and accuracy to the material requirements planning (MRP) process, expediting, negotiating and inventory management as well as assisting with warehouse receiving and stock control processes.
This individual must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers while managing all key aspects of the Purchase Order Management process for Raw Materials and some consumables, services and capital equipment, resulting in having all necessary items available at the right time in the right place to support our Manufacturing teams.
**The Role**:
- All aspects of Purchase Order Management including mrp, inventory record accuracy, safety stock levels, ordering, price management, item maintenance, expediting, inbound scheduling.
- Managing inbound slotting allocations for local and international inbound deliveries.
- Implementing improvements in purchasing processes and effective use of ERP and S&OP technologies.
- Maintain and communicate Out-of-stock lists and min stock violations.
- Assist in all investigations and correct stock discrepancies for Raw Materials including cycle counting, stocktakes and reconciliations
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure accurate delivery dates
**About You**
- Sound knowledge of MRP and purchasing practices, the inbound Logistics functions along with a basic understanding of door making Operations
- The ability to have a positive impact on the team and the performance of the organisation through your leadership and strong work ethic
- Attention to detail, fast data processing and strong commercial acumen;
- Proficient ERP systems (Titan would be an advantage)
- Experience in being able to react to and overcome problems that arise and to provide direction and leadership to staff where necessary whilst maintaining Customer and supplier relationships.
- Excellent communication skills as this role requires the ability to communicate with many different departments and levels.
