Griffith University is seeking a visionary educator to join its growing discipline within the School of Allied Health Sport and Social Work.
Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver practice-informed education that prepares students for professional success and social impact.
* Inspire student success through inclusive evidence-informed and work-integrated learning approaches.
* Drive meaningful research in areas such as domestic and family violence, child protection, health care social work or other practice fields aligned with expertise.
* Collaborate with excellence by partnering with leading Griffith research centres and Beacons.
* Engage with industry and community through co-designing curriculum and initiatives that address urgent social issues.
This is a continuing full-time position primarily based at Griffith University's Logan or Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus university you may be required to work across other locations.
Requirements:
* A doctoral or masters qualification (or equivalent standing) in a relevant discipline.
* Eligibility for professional membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
* Evidence of innovative evidence-informed teaching practice and commitment to continuous improvement.
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to foster productive partnerships across academia, industry and community.
* Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following: Domestic and Family Violence, Child Protection, Health Care Social Work.
Benefits:
* The base salary will be Academic Level B $113,226 – $134,460 per annum 17% superannuation.
* Unrestricted working rights are required.
