St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 197‑bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation. We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services. Pathology, radiology and pharmacy are also available on site, and our emergency department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.
This rewarding opportunity will see you join the St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba (SVPHT) as the Building Services Team Lead in our Building Services and Facilities department. This role is a permanent full‑time position where you will be pivotal in ensuring that maintenance and repairs are carried out to a high standard, ensuring the safety of our staff, patients and visitors to our facilities.
Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise and coordinate maintenance and repair activities of building services across the hospital
* Ensure all work meets safety, quality and regulatory standards
* Coordinate and supervise contractors and subcontractors
* Maintain accurate records and reporting, ensuring timely completion of tasks
* Be on call one week per month as required
Qualifications
* Previous experience with contractor supervision in a health environment will be advantageous
* Trade qualification in the building / electrical or mechanical industries is preferred
* Fire Safety Advisor certificate will be advantageous
* Fire indicator Panel operation experience will be advantageous
* Availability to be on call one week per month
