The Role
As a Consultant Paediatrician, you'll lead paediatric and neonatal care across the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network.
Based at Port Augusta Hospital, you'll also provide outreach services to surrounding regional and remote communities.
Key Focus Areas
* Delivering expert, family‑centred care
* Supporting early intervention and maternal‑child health services
* Contributing to the broader SA paediatric network
* Providing outreach and culturally appropriate care to Aboriginal children
* Teaching and mentoring junior staff and students
Participation
Participating in quality improvement and audit programs.
You'll also be part of a collaborative leadership team that's passionate about improving health outcomes for children in rural and remote South Australia.
About You
You are a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in General Paediatrics and eligible for registration with AHPRA.
You're passionate about rural health, committed to clinical excellence, and ready to make a meaningful impact in a regional setting.
