We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality and Compliance Coordinator to join our highly reputable team, working full-time, based in Oakleigh, Victoria. As a highly collaborative and motivated individual, you will be responsible for supporting and guiding the quality assurance processes to ensure overall compliance in line with regulations and standards.
This role will have a strong focus on collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the safeguarding of clients and maintaining the highest quality of services and systems in line with regulations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Conducting a triage of incidents and initial response.
* Supporting Managers to meet appropriate standards and reporting requirements for the delivery of supports in line with relevant standards and contractual obligations.
* Liaising with internal stakeholders around Policy and documentation.
* Ensuring the review, reporting and record keeping of restrictive practices are in line with NDIS regulations.
* Ensuring flexible and innovative services for continuous improvement.
* Working with Managers to develop and maintain appropriate processes and procedures that support the delivery of client services.
* Undertaking data entry and transfers through Riskman.
* Maintaining integrity of data through well maintained records, and existing organisational quality assurance processes.
What you will bring
To succeed in this role, you will bring your passion and professionalism to ensure best practice initiatives for service provision. Additionally, you will have:
* Experience and/or understanding of quality functions within an organisational structure.
* Strong focus on human rights driving your work ethic.
* Exceptional communication and influencing skills combined with a systematic approach to your work.
* Working knowledge in relevant legislation including the NDIS and Victorian Senior Practitioner.
* Experience liaising with a range of stakeholders, with a solutions focus regarding issues that include risk.
* Ability to read, understand and apply policy and procedures.
* Ability to analyse and interpret data metrics and documentation.
* Proficient in the use of the Microsoft suite including word and excel and incident reporting and client record management systems.
* Experience working with people with disability will be highly desirable.
