Merchandise Planning Opportunity
The role of Merchandise Planner is key to the success of our business in Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking a talented individual to join our team and contribute to the planning and management of our merchandise.
About the Role
This full-time position will report to the Head of Merchandising and be responsible for effectively planning and managing our merchandise across both countries. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain category plans to ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Participate in the ranging process to drive sales growth.
* Manage retail inventory positions to achieve optimal stock levels, maximize stock turn, and minimize product markdowns.
* Implement a 'just-in-time' approach to coordinate delivery flows of stock into our stores.
* Support the Merchandise Team in managing annual brand sales and inventory budgets by category.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Prior experience in a similar role.
* Sales analysis and forecasting ability.
* Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills.
* SAP experience or similar.
* A highly proactive and collaborative approach to work.
* Excellent planning skills and attention to detail.
* Strong numeracy and communication skills.
