As Manufacturing Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in ensuring safe, stable and efficient manufacturing operations across our packaging and beverage areas. You'll work closely with the broader manufacturing leadership team to balance daily operational priorities, lead people through complexity, and keep production running smoothly in a fast‐paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the safe, efficient and environmentally responsible manufacture of high‐quality FMCG beverage products
* Own and deliver the site manufacturing continuous improvement agenda, identifying constraints and unlocking process capability
* Manage production performance against service, cost, quality and efficiency KPIs
* Develop and manage operational budgets, cost centres and manufacturing plans
* Lead capital planning and provide operational input into capital projects to maximise post‐implementation outcomes
* Ensure strong quality outcomes, with products consistently manufactured to specification and customer expectation
* Drive delivery performance through improved flexibility, cycle times and changeover efficiency
* Lead, engage and develop manufacturing teams, embedding a performance and improvement culture
* Support change initiatives and build organisational capability through effective leadership and communication
* Champion health, safety, quality and environmental standards across all areas of responsibility
About You
You're a people‐focused manufacturing leader who combines operational discipline with a continuous improvement mindset. You enjoy developing teams, solving problems on the floor, and balancing short‐term delivery with longer‐term capability building.
You'll bring:
* Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment, ideally within FMCG or a similar operational setting
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, operational improvement and change leadership
* Experience managing budgets, operational plans and cost control
* Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean or Six Sigma)
* A collaborative leadership style with strong relationship‐building and communication skills
* Strong computer literacy, and ability to learn new systems
* Confidence working across safety, quality and environmental management systems
* Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science, food technology, management or a related discipline will be well regarded
