Purpose
The primary responsibility of this role involves sanding and polishing aluminum bumpers and bull bars for the truck and bus industry, as well as various aluminum and stainless-steel components.
Key Accountabilities
Measure and mark equipment, objects, or parts to ensure grinding and polishing standards are met.
Use a variety of abrasives, air-powered tools and equipment to safely and efficiently grind and polish metal materials to meet required results.
Sand and polish bumper, bull bars and associated components.
Understand sanding and polishing safety and apply this to work duties.
Visually inspect parts and determine issues and defects.
File grooved, contoured, and irregular surfaces of metal objects, such as metalworking dies and machine parts, to conform to templates, other parts, layouts, or blueprint specifications.
Understand polishing safety and apply this to work duties.

What We're Looking For
Experience: Previous sanding and polishing experience is ideal; experience with trucks/trailers is a plus.
Mindset: A proactive, punctual, and team-oriented individual who can prioritise tasks effectively and work to instruction.
Skills: Ability to safely and efficiently operate a pedestal polisher.
Legal rights to work in Australia.
