The Opportunity
We are looking for a hands‐on Storeperson to keep our inventory, deliveries, and plant and equipment running smoothly. This role suits someone who enjoys being the go‐to person who makes sure our teams have what they need, when they need it, and that gear is tracked, maintained, and ready for site.

Key responsibilities
* Plant & Equipment Management: Maintain an up to date plant and equipment register, track allocations to teams, and coordinate servicing, repairs, test and tag, and compliance checks to ensure equipment is fit for use and returns are recorded.
* Fleet & Vehicle Coordination: Schedule servicing and inspections, maintain compliance records, monitor registration and inspection requirements, coordinate vehicle transfers for onboarding and offboarding, and manage defects and repairs.
* Inventory & Materials Management: Receive and record deliveries, notify relevant stakeholders, manage returns and supplier credits, maintain stock accuracy and reorder points, and support bulk project purchasing by checking stock before ordering.
* Workshop & Storage Management: Maintain an organised, safe workshop and yard with clear labelling and structured storage systems that improve efficiency and reduce waste.
* Compliance & Safety: Work within the Techworks HSEQ framework by maintaining accurate registers and documentation, using safe handling and storage practices, and identifying and reporting hazards in the workshop and storage areas.
About you
You are reliable, organised, and take pride in a tidy, well‐run workshop. You are comfortable dealing with supervisors and site teams, and you follow through without needing to be chased. You do not need to be a computer expert, but you must be willing to use basic systems to keep registers and records accurate.
Essential requirements
* Demonstrated experience in a storeperson, warehouse, or logistics role within construction or trade‐based industries
* Proven ability to manage inventory systems, stock control, and purchasing coordination
* Experience managing plant, equipment, and asset registers
* Ability to coordinate servicing and compliance requirements for plant and fleet
* Valid C-class driver's licence
* White Card (or willingness to obtain)
* Australian working rights
Preferred experience
* Experience in electrical, plumbing, or construction environments
* Familiarity with test and tag, ladder inspections, vehicle checks, and asset compliance processes
* Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or inventory systems); simPRO exposure is a bonus
