**About our Emergency Psychiatric Services (EPS) at Monash Health**
More than 22,000 of us work at over 40 care locations across south-east Melbourne, including seven hospitals and an extensive network of rehabilitation, aged care, community health and mental health facilities.
Casey EPS and Consultation Liaison (CL) services provide psychiatric assessment and consultation to consumers in the Emergency Department, community and general hospital wards.
We are now looking for a motivated administrator to join us in a newly created part time, fixed term (4 year) role.
**About the Role**
In this integral role, you will assist with ensuring that the service runs smoothly and efficiently to meet both consumers' needs and operational demands. ?Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating an excellent first impression of Casey EPS/CL by providing a friendly, courteous and professional service to patients, families and stakeholders.
- Answering and assist incoming callers in a friendly, courteous and professional manner
- Managing and tracking medical records documentation in a variety of systems
- Providing administration support to the Manager and clinical staff
- Completing data entry in a timely manner, to assist in producing reports as required
- Maintaining adequate supplies of stock
This is a Part Time, Fixed term role, working a rotating roster (Monday to Sunday).

You are a genuinely passionate and caring person who is highly committed to delivering exceptional customer/client service within a dynamic and varied environment. As a clear communicator you build rapport quickly with others.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to demonstrate:
- Certificate in Administration and/or equivalent qualification
- Completion of training or advanced use of the suite of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Previous experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in a range of software systems: EMR, SMR, iPM, iProc, Riskman (Incident reporting) and various platforms ie Teams/Webex/Telehealth
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage a multi-phone line system (CISCO)
- Experience and proficiency in word processing and minute taking
- High level organisational, prioritisations and time management skills
- Competent use of CMI database and knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2014 is considered d_esirable._
