An exciting opportunity has arisen for a NBN Communications Technician to join ServiceStream in our Seven Hills office 
About the Role
ServiceStream's Telecommunications division are currently seeking a NBN Communications Technician to join our growing company. You will be responsible for working in the NBN space showing high levels of competence in copper fault finding, maintenance, technical ability and installation.
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Seven Hills, NSW
Reporting Line: Field Services Manager
Key Responsibilities 
- Optic fibre testing/splicing and commissioning as appropriate and running Optic Fibre jumpers. 
- Update appropriate systems with project completion data and maintain databases of reference. 
- Carry out site inspections prior to work commencing.

- Adherence to ALL company policies and procedures 
- May be required to assist and guide the on-the-job training and job familiarisation of staff other than those directly led. 
- Perform other duties as required, which may include activities normally carried out at other levels. 
- Willingness and availability to work on a rotational, on-call, 24/7 roster. Including working away from home, country NSW, or interstate as required.

About You 
- Extensive knowledge of Telstra/NBN Copper/fibre 
- Fault finding including the use of fault-finding test equipment 
- Network and single fibre splicing 
- Intermediate computer skills - Excel/Word/Outlook 
- NBN enable accreditations 
- Certificate II or III in Telecommunications 
- CPR and First Aid Qualification
