Manager Facilities Contracts and Finance

Continuing, Full Time AppointmentProfessional Employee Level 8Annual salary $108,349 – $122,491 pa + 17% superannuation & 6 weeks annual leaveCasuarina Campus | Larrakia Country

The Charles Darwin University Property and Facilities team is responsible for the development and maintenance of the universities property and assets portfolio, including the planning and development of major and minor capital works, as well as on‐campus services including building and facilities management, campus security, groundskeeping, and space utilisation.

About the PositionThe Manager Facilities Contracts and Finance reports to the Deputy Director Facilities Property and Services and works closely with the CDU Finance and Legal teams and leads the management and development of governance, processes, communications and administration support to the Property & Facilities finances, budget, tender, property leasing and contracts environment. The Manager Facilities Contracts and Finance leads the contracts and finance function in Property and Facilities and is the team leader supervising the two Contracts and Finance Administrator roles.

About You

* Significant experience managing a portfolio of contracts and/or leases
* Ability to prioritise tasks and maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a high‐volume and complex environment.
* Proven ability to create, maintain and manage records and documentation to a high standard.
* Proven aptitude for administrative and financial work.
* Demonstrated ability to build excellent relationships with internal and external clients using both verbal and written communication.
* Demonstrated aptitude in the use of relevant technology including Finance systems e.g. Technology One Finance, electronic signing e.g. DocuSign, office productivity e.g. the Microsoft Office 365 suite of programs.
* Commitment to the University's values.

Appointment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory National Criminal History check and a valid NT Working with Children clearance.

RemunerationAppointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 8. The base salary will be in the range of $108,349 - $122,491 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $126,768 - $143,314 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
