About the role We are looking for a Care Manager that is a dynamic and influential leader.
This pivotal position will support the delivery of high quality, person-centred clinical and care services.
Working alongside the Facility Manager, the successful incumbent will have responsibility driving excellence in customer experience, clinical governance, compliance, and quality outcomes in line with the Strengthened Aged Care Standards.The Care Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team and set the tone for compassionate,culturally sensitive, and consumer-focused care.
The role requires a proactive, flexible andresourceful professional with up-to-date clinical knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, anda commitment to continuous improvement.
Some of the responsibilities of the role include:Ensuring needs of all stakeholders are met, especially those of the EldersEnsure resident care and services is consistent with the Aged Care QualityStandards and where this is not the case involve the multidisciplinary team toformulate and recommend interventions.
Lead the team in achieving and maintaining accreditation standards andrequirements.
Mentor, supervise and educate staff ensuring quality services are delivered toresidents.Maximise funding opportunities.Ensure clinical governance is current and oversee/implement clinical care needs andsystemsDevelop and review organisational policies and procedures to ensure it reflectscontemporary requirements.Lead the analysis and assessment of incidents, complaints, risks or issues that ariseQualifications Registered Nurse Div 1 registered with the Australian Health PractitionerRegistration Agency.Formal qualifications in management or a health-related discipline, or businessexperience highly regarded Skills & Experience Extensive experience in Aged Care ManagementBroad clinical background as a Registered Nurse with experience in Aged Care andResidential Care Long standing experience in a senior role that has included staff supervision andprogram managementIs able to effectively lead a team and prioritise a substantial workload in order toachieve clinical outcomesIs self-motivated in relation to professional and career development opportunitiesCan lead others to achieve desired client care outcomesShows sound judgement and responds quickly and effectively to issues includingHuman Resource, client complaints and serious incidents Why MiCare?
