Key Leadership Finance Role
This senior financial leadership position has been established to lead the finance strategy and operations of a dynamic division.
The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and governance. They will collaborate with cross-agency partners to drive high standards in public sector finance.
Responsibilities
* Leading a dedicated finance team by building capability, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.
* Delivering accurate, timely budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis in line with public sector frameworks.
* Developing best-practice processes, policies, and reporting tools to support strategic decision-making.
* Collaborating with executive leaders on key submissions, including business cases, budget bids, and Cabinet papers.
* Managing critical financial relationships and statutory requirements, including liaison with auditors.
* Supporting performance and accountability through robust reporting to Risk & Audit Committees and parliamentary forums.
