Water Treatment Operator – Shape the future of water sustainability with Australia's environmental leader. Following our major ten‐year contract win with Hunter Water Corporation, Veolia is seeking a dedicated Water Treatment Operator for our Tomago team. You'll keep the water flowing safely to over 500,000 people across the Hunter region.

What you'll do
* Operate drinking water treatment plants safely and efficiently
* Monitor water quality parameters
* Collect water samples and conduct laboratory analysis
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues
* Ensure compliance with Drinking Water Guidelines
* Maintain accurate operational and maintenance records
* Respond to water quality incidents following established protocol
* Identify and respond to treatment process control issues (training provided)
What you'll need
* Experience in water treatment operations (preferred)
* SCADA system and process control experience (preferred) or strong aptitude for learning technical systems
* Understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment
* Chemical handling and safety knowledge
* Willingness to obtain Cert3 in water industry
