This is a key management role responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of our administration, transport, and support services — ensuring our staff and clients receive the highest level of support every day.
You will lead a busy, committed team across two sites, providing hands-on guidance in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. * Manage fleet operations including servicing, insurance, and compliance
* Oversee facilities and contracted services such as cleaning, security, and maintenance
* Monitor operational budgets and resources
* Lead, support, and develop administrative staff to deliver outstanding internal and external service
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a senior role with a respected Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation that's growing and evolving.
About You
You are an organised and confident leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys building strong, capable teams. You will bring:
* Qualifications and/or solid experience in Business Administration, Management, or related field
* Proven success leading high-performing admin or customer service teams
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
* Experience managing budgets, assets, facilities, and fleets
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to engage respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal communities
* A proactive, professional, and culturally aware approach
Identified Position: Applicants must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent (Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act).
Why Join AWAHS?
* Meaningful work: Make a genuine difference in the lives of Aboriginal families and communities
* Attractive benefits: Salary packaging of up to $15,900 tax-free, plus superannuation
* Supportive team: Inclusive culture, professional development, supervision, and EAP access
