What You'll Be Doing
As Principal – Modern Work, you'll combine technical depth with commercial influence, leading both pre-sales and engineering delivery.
Pre-Sales and Client Engagement
Lead technical pre-sales across Microsoft Teams Calling, Cisco Webex Calling, Contact Centre and telephony solutions
Translate business needs into scalable workplace solutions
Develop proposals, presentations and bids
Own the client relationship throughout design and implementation
Support account management and grow key customer accounts
Provide technical insight in client meetings and internal planning sessions
Technical Leadership and Project Delivery
Technical authority for Modern Work and Collaboration engineering
Lead project scoping, design and implementation
Resolve technical challenges during pre-sales and delivery phases
Lead proof of concept initiatives
Mentor junior consultants and engineers
Industry Engagement and Thought Leadership
Represent Orro at industry events and partner forums
Participate in Microsoft TAP program
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies
Contribute to strategic roadmap for the Collaboration division
Drive innovation and continuous improvement across team practices
Collaboration and Partner Relationships
Build and maintain relationships with key technology partners and vendors
Support marketing campaigns and solution materials
Provide product and feature insight to internal teams
Documentation and Compliance
High-quality technical documentation: architectures, configuration standards and best practices
Deliver technical workshops and training for customers and internal teams
Ensure compliance with regulations and standards
Provide guidance on security and data privacy in workplace environments
Financial and Product Management
Cost estimation and budget development for client projects
Maintain the Collaboration product catalogue and support margin management
Evaluate new technologies for the Collaboration offering
What You'll Bring
Minimum 8 years in IT or Telecommunications
Deep technical expertise across Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, SIP and Contact Centre platforms
Understanding of supporting technologies (Cloud Phone Systems, SBCs, call recording, analytics)
Experience with endpoint devices (Teams Rooms, IP handsets, headsets)
Bonus Points
Managed Services environment experience
Exposure to AI Voice Agent or related AI technologies
Certifications
Microsoft Teams Collaboration and Communications
SIP School
AudioCodes or Ribbon
