Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Improvement Lead to join our team. This is a key role that will shape and support our organisation-wide approach to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI).
The successful candidate will work across both Service and Enabling networks, leading the implementation of our Quality Improvement Strategy. This strategy aims to position us as a leader in quality improvement within community health.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing, evaluating and managing CQI systems and processes aligned with our Quality Improvement Strategy
* Establishing systems to track, monitor and report quality improvements through governance channels
* Partnering with Network Directors to set and achieve annual CQI targets and demonstrating the impact of CQI initiatives
Additionally, the Quality Improvement Lead will support managers, teams, and the broader workforce to identify and action opportunities for quality improvement. They will also lead the development of CQI capability across the workforce through supporting training, coaching, and the facilitation of a Quality Improvement Community of Practice.
Requirements include:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a quality improvement/management role within a healthcare setting
* A qualification or certification in improvement methodology, such as IHI improvement science or lean six sigma, or extensive experience using improvement methodologies
* Certificate IV Workplace Training & Assessment, or experience in delivering training
* A Victorian Driver's Licence and ability to meet pre-employment requirements, including a police check, WWCC, work rights, and vaccinations
