About the role
Bathurst Hospital Rehabilitation Ward is looking for a dynamic, energetic educator with a passion for engaging with people and working within a multidisciplinary team environment. You should be a creative problem solver, able to contribute to the ongoing development of the unit, and enthusiastic and supportive in staffing the ward.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical teaching and education to staff and patients on the Rehabilitation Ward
* Collaborate with allied health, nursing and multidisciplinary team to develop and implement student learning outcomes
* Develop and deliver assessment tools and educational resources for the ward
* Assist in unit quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with health policies
Qualifications and Experience
* Registered Nurse with clinical experience in rehabilitation or related area
* Experience or qualification in clinical education or teaching
* Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
* Commitment to working in a rural health district and ability to support a multidisciplinary team
