The Opportunity
Reporting to the Dealer Principal, the Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales department to achieve volume, gross profit, and customer satisfaction objectives. This role oversees sales staff performance, inventory management, customer experience, and compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer standards. The Sales Manager drives revenue growth through effective leadership, training, and strategic planning.
Key Accountabilities
Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targetLead daily sales meetings and monitor team KPIManage lead allocation and closing performanceCoach and develop sales consultantsReview and approve deals prior to F&I submissionMonitor gross profit, expenses, and complianceOversee inventory levels, aging stock, and merchandisingEnsure an outstanding customer buying experience
The ideal candidate will have
You will have a proven background in sales, sales management and within a Recreational Vehicle dealership or similar industryStrong leadership and communication skills are essential as your role is to provide leadership, training, and direction to the team members under your guidanceMeticulously organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyThe ability to bring customer delight to your customer service, maximising customer satisfaction, retention and brand loyaltyYou will have a high level of integrity with all your internal and external stakeholders
