We founded the Video Futures Collective (VFC), a powerful industry body dedicated to championing the contribution and impact of the streaming video landscape for advertisers. The VFC brings together leading global and local platforms, including Amazon, YouTube, Disney ESPN, SBS, Samsung Ads, Netflix, Vevo, and Foxtel.
As the VFC prepares to become a formal incorporated body in 2026, we are scaling up our resources and seeking a passionate Marketing and Communications Executive to join our team. This critical new role will be instrumental in driving awareness, advocacy, and action for the VFC across the industry over the next 12 months and beyond.
As our Marketing & Communications Executive, you will be responsible for creating social media and e-newsletter content, generating marketing reports, coordinating materials, assisting with events and trade competitions, and providing administrative and strategic marketing support for VFC initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with cross-functional teams to execute client & agency engagement programs using thought leadership events, content, industry sponsorships and education initiatives.
* Implement trade marketing strategies for the VFC and its channel stakeholders across owned, earned and paid channels
* Oversee and co-ordinate the VFC e-newsletter, copy for marketing materials, digital trade campaigns and other related marketing material.
* Actively manage, monitor and report on the VFC social channels.
* Support the execution of major business sponsorships and events.
* Build close relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a holistic approach to our trade communications.
* Produce a regular cadence of reporting that encompasses all marketing initiatives.
* Photography for internal and external activations
* Organise and develop merchandise for internal and external initiatives
* Ensuring all invoices are processed on time and updated in the budget tracker
About your experience
* 3 years + in a Marketing Executive role or similar (Media, TV, Advertising highly desirable)
* Outstanding communication skills to write, edit and sub-edit across a variety of formats/media including intranet and newsletters
* High level of attention to detail and ability to consistently deliver high quality output
* Strong project management skills and great multi-tasker, including managing multiple stakeholders at any one time
* An understanding of excel reporting and data spreadsheets
* Ability to thrive in past paced environments, agile and easily adaptable to constant change and evolution.
* Highly organised and accountable, you are self-motivated, possess integrity and able to work autonomously across multiple teams
* Marketing, Media and Communications degree
