Job Title
The role of a Stormwater Engineering Team Leader is to oversee the delivery of innovative stormwater solutions across the municipality. This position plays a key part in monitoring team performance, managing budgets, and delivering on strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate a high-performing team of engineers focused on stormwater solutions across the municipality.
* Strategically manage flood mitigation, network capacity enhancement, and stormwater asset management projects.
* Monitor team performance, manage budgets, and deliver on strategic objectives.
* Cultivate strong relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
* Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture and drive adoption of innovative approaches.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Registered Professional Engineer or on a pathway to registration with a minimum of a Washington Accord recognised accreditation that meets the requirement for registration.
* Experienced people leader able to develop and deliver against objectives and budgets.
* Excellent communicator with demonstrated ability to prepare succinct written reports.
* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to engage across internal and external stakeholders.
