Overview

This full-time Data Lead (Reporting) role at Community First Bank is an exciting new opportunity to make a tangible impact on the organisation's reporting and analytics capabilities. Based in either our Auburn or Wollongong office, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of robust, insightful reporting solutions to support the bank's strategic decision-making.

This role plays a critical role in shaping the data landscape of an organization. By effectively utilizing Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, and Microsoft Fabric, you can drive strategic decisions and enhance overall business performance.


Responsibilities

* Create, maintain and implement comprehensive reporting frameworks to consolidate, analyse and present key business data
* Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to understand their reporting needs and translate them into effective solutions
* Oversee the use of Power BI, Tableau and SSRS for reporting and analytics
* Ensure reporting outputs are timely, accurate and decision-ready, while working with data integration and management
* Identify opportunities to enhance reporting automation and self-service capabilities
* Champion a culture of data-driven decision making within a Member owned Bank
* Managing end to end analytics projects


Qualifications

* Significant experience in a data reporting or business intelligence role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
* Strong expertise in data modelling, extraction, transformation and visualisation using tools such as Tableau, Power BI or SSRS
* Proven track record of designing and delivering impactful, user-friendly reporting solutions
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to translate complex data into meaningful insights
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* Understanding of data governance principles and best practices
* Tertiary qualification in a quantitative discipline such as data science, statistics or computer science
