The Role & Responsibilities:

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in driving commercial success by leading and inspiring a high-performing sales team, cultivating strong relationships with medical professionals, and championing innovative, patient-focused solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to achieve and exceed sales targets by empowering your team to deliver value-driven offerings that enhance patient outcomes and align with our company's purpose-led mission.

* Lead and mentor a team of 8+ Medical Sales Representatives across Australia to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Develop and execute a strategic plan to maximize sales opportunities and expand the company's market presence.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including ophthalmologists, optometrists, and orthoptists.
* Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure the team effectively promotes our ophthalmic products and delivers value-driven solutions for patients.
* Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and advancements within ophthalmology to keep the team informed and competitive.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and medical affairs, to align strategies and achieve shared goals.
* Maintain compliance with Medicines Australia guidelines and internal company policies.

Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Regional Sales Manager or Medical Sales Representative, ideally within pharmaceuticals or related healthcare fields
* Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and drive sales in a competitive environment
* Demonstrated success in consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
* Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable territory strategies
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented culture
* Full Australian working rights
* Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle with a 5-star ANCAP safety rating
