Role
The Head of Boarding is a key member of the Executive Leadership team, responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of all boarding operations and facilities. Reporting directly to the Principal, this role oversees the care, safety and wellbeing of students and works collaboratively with staff across the school community to support each student's individual needs. The role requires excellent management skills, strong communication and a visible, accessible presence to foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive boarding environment.

Requirements
* Hold current Queensland College of Teachers registration (preferred) or a valid Blue Card
* Prior leadership experience
* Strong understanding of student wellbeing, pastoral care, and relevant legislationRepresent the school positively within and beyond the community
* Work collaboratively and respectfully with colleagues
* Maintain a professional standard in conduct, appearance, and communication
* Comply with child protection policies, codes of conduct, and school procedures
* Report suspected child abuse as required
* Complete mandatory compliance and training, including Child Protection and Anaphylaxis, within induction and annually
