Financial Leadership Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager to lead our accounting operations across Australia and support global initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with 10+ years of experience in medium to large firms. They will be responsible for overseeing business unit accounting, AP/AR, payroll, treasury, and financial reporting. Additionally, they will prepare monthly reports and provide insights through variance and performance analysis.
The Finance Manager will also drive budgeting, forecasting, and audit readiness. They will ensure compliance in domestic and international tax, liaising with advisors and authorities. Furthermore, they will evaluate and enhance internal controls, accounting systems, and related policies.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, and professional accreditation such as CPA or Chartered Accountant. They will possess strong team leadership and staff development skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills, is essential. Solid technical knowledge of GAAP and AASB accounting standards is also required.
