About the role

We have an opportunity for a Finance Officer to be part of our Stores Team, Forensic Evidence & Technical Services Command. The Finance Officer is responsible for delivering a range of accounting and finance support services and advice on the business unit's financial position and performance. The role of the finance officer is to supervise a team to ensure financial and administrative support is delivered within the business unit.

This role is responsible for stock ordering and control of complex inventory that requires constant quality checks, expiry monitoring, stocktake, and has extended lead times for replenishment. Please provide an example of your experience in managing complex inventories.

This role involves supervising and managing a small team. Can you share an example of strategies you've used to keep your team motivated and focused during repetitive or physically demanding tasks; while ensuring they consistently deliver a high standard of customer service.
