The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to design, develop, implement and manage data-centric solutions such as dashboards, data flows, commercial reporting, and identify and implement continuous improvements.
The position reports to the Data and Analytics Manager and is a full time, 12-month parental leave cover contract.Key Responsibilities include :Partner with stakeholders to execute and implement effective data solutionsDesign, deliver and maintain multi-year data & analytics capabilityImplement optimized, integrated data processes to support internal customers and drive improvements in data accuracy and reliabilityEnsure timely production of data and analytical assetsMonitor, report, resolution, and co-ordination associated with data quality metrics and systems integration as a local data stewardIdentify and optimize automation and simplification within data and process flowsProvide decision support to various stakeholders (BU's, project teams, functions)Win - What we expect of youWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.
The experienced Data Analyst / Engineer we seek is a highly self-motivated, collaborative, communicative, tech-savvy and innovative individual with these attributes / qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field2 years' experience in a similar role in the Pharmaceutical Industry strongly preferred2 years' experience in data analysis, data management, or a related fieldExperience delivering commercial reporting, data-centric solutions such as dashboards and data flowsStrong understanding of data quality, data management, and governance principlesExperience with data visualisation and analytics tools (e.g.
Tableau, Alteryx, Amazon Redshift or similar RDBMS)Microsoft Power Platform experienceAdvanced levels of SQL knowledge and experienceExcellent written and oral communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teamsUnderstanding of complex interconnected data environment with a DW / DL - preferredUnderstanding of data standards and best practices (DMBok) with demonstrated abilities in data modelling, BI, DQ, etc.
