Regional Director - Practice
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our quality engineering capability in New Zealand. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving technical excellence, championing innovation, and uplifting delivery maturity.
This role is based in Auckland, New Zealand. As a recognised thought leader and trusted advisor, you will keep us ahead of the curve by introducing emerging trends, tools, and ways of working.

• Advise on new concepts, tooling, and methodologies

• Lead strategic assessments, road-mapping, and uplift engagements
* Solution & IP Creation

• Design accelerators, frameworks, and courseware aligned to market trends

• Collaborate on tenders, RFXs, and strategic proposals
* Thought Leadership
*
• Represent us at conferences, SIGs, and meet-ups; publish whitepapers

• Forge industry partnerships that keep us at the forefront of QE
1. Strategic mindset with the ability to balance delivery oversight, client consulting, and capability growth
2. Strong senior-stakeholder influence and consulting skills
3. Hands-on experience with bid support, commercial models, and margin management
4. Expertise in governance, metrics, and standards (ISTQB, ISO, TMMi or similar)
5. Inspirational communication style and a passion for mentoring high-performing teams
6. Exposure to leading test-automation stacks (Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Tosca)
7. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC tooling
8. Experience building training curricula or academy programmes
9. Active participation in professional communities, forums, or meet-ups
