Role Type: 2-year full time contract
Salary: $79,681 - $84,564 per annum plus superannuation

The opportunity:

We are looking for a creative Communications Coordinator to join our team. In this role you will support the delivery of integrated communications activities that enhance Murdoch Children's Research Institute's (MCRI) profile and engagement.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, researchers and external partners to develop and deliver content across multiple platforms, supporting research initiatives, campaigns and key organisational priorities.

What you'll do

* Create and deliver engaging content across web, social, eNewsletters and reports
* Draft and adapt media releases and communications materials
* Support communications campaigns and stakeholder engagement initiatives
* Collaborate with researchers to translate complex information into accessible content
* Assist with media enquiries, events and internal communications activities
* Contribute to brand, marketing and communications strategies

What you'll bring

* Qualification in communications, media, marketing, journalism or related field
* At least 3+ years' experience in communications, media or related roles
* Strong writing and editing skills across multiple content types
* Experience working with technical or research-based content
* Social media and digital communications experience
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
* A collaborative, proactive and adaptable approach
