Business Improvement Specialist
We are seeking a Business Improvement Specialist for an 18-month fixed-term, hands-on role.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to implement continuous improvement methodologies that align with strategic priorities and deliver measurable value.
Key Responsibilities
1. Document current business processes using mapping tools and support stakeholders through improvement methodologies.
2. Conduct data analysis and facilitate workshops to identify opportunities for optimization and design practical solutions based on best practices and compliance requirements.
3. Develop and document efficient new processes aligned with governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, and collaborate with teams to embed improvements into daily operations.
4. Plan and oversee the implementation of process changes, including change management activities, and provide training and support on updated processes and procedures.
5. Monitor the impact of changes, refine processes as needed, and lead regular process reviews to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
About You
We seek a driven, methodical professional with experience in delivering proven business process improvements and designing sustainable processes reflecting best practices in a changing landscape.
Ideal Candidate
* Tertiary qualification in Business, Management, or relevant field.
* Certification or practical experience in continuous improvement and change management.
* Strong commercial/financial acumen, with experience in financial systems and reporting.
* Proven experience delivering process improvement projects in similar roles.
* Skills in process analysis, data interpretation, and mapping tools.
* High attention to detail, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
* Facilitation skills and ability to lead engaging workshops.
* Collaborative, independent, and adaptable working style, capable of managing multiple priorities.
* Confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders.
* Familiarity with community services operations (aged care, disability, etc.) in a growing organization (desirable).
