* Temporary (Up to 31 March 2027) full-time (35 hours/per wk)
* Office location in Northern Rivers and open to Central West (i.e., Dubbo, Orange and Eugowra) – Hybrid/flexible working supported
* Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $113,574 to $125,720 + super

Our Northern Rivers Adaptation team are currently seeking to appoint a Project Officer to join our team in delivering the Resilient Homes Program (RHP). This role provides critical project management and community engagement support to ensure the program meets its strategic objectives. You will be at the heart of the project lifecycle, including stakeholder engagement and data analysis to strict documentation of sensitive information for high-impact community initiatives.

* Coordinate resources, monitor project plans, and prepare briefs to ensure the RHP is delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
* Maintain accurate project records for monitoring and evaluation, ensuring high-quality data is accessible for all reporting requirements.
* Act as a central point of contact, coordinating working groups and committees to facilitate seamless information exchange.
* Source and compile data to track progress against milestones, identify emerging trends, and provide insights that support informed decision-making.

About You

You are a detail-oriented professional with a knack for multitasking and a passion for resilient community outcomes. You excel at translating complex data into clear reports and possess the communication skills necessary to navigate diverse stakeholder environments effectively.

Essential Requirements

* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent knowledge and experience in project management, communications or engagement.

About the Agency
The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation and executive agency of the Premier's Department, that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster.
