Role Description
The Welder will be tasked with performing various welding techniques, including arc welding, TIG welding, and MIG welding, to fabricate and repair metal structures. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, preparing materials, maintaining welding equipment, and ensuring all work adheres to safety and quality standards. The role may involve collaboration with a team in a workshop or construction site setting under industrial safety protocols.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Arc Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding techniques
* Knowledge of materials and their applications in fabrications and repairs
* Experience in welding and fabrication, including interpreting technical drawings
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Understanding of and adherence to workplace safety procedures and standards
* Relevant certifications in welding and fabrication (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade) are advantageous
* Positive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
