About the role
Nuform ACT is seeking a skilled Concreter to join our dedicated team in Canberra. With both full time, casual and subcontractors positions available, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced concreter to contribute to the successful delivery of our projects.
What you'll be doing
The successful candidates will be responsible for a range of concrete-specific tasks including site preparation, formwork, experience with waffle pods, steel fixing, concrete pouring, finishing. i am also looking for a foreman who has the ability read plans, manage people and work autonomously. The role requires someone who is reliable, enjoyable to be around who has a high attention to detail and an ability to execute concreting tasks to a high standard.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a concreter (slabs, formwork, finishing, steel fixing, waffle pods)
- Strong work ethic – reliable, punctual, and team-focused
- Physically fit and able to perform hands-on work
- Ability to read and interpret plans/drawings
- Safety-conscious with a White Card
- Asbestos & Silica Awareness (or willingness to complete before starting)
- Reliable transport
- Positive attitude – someone who’s enjoyable to work with and takes pride in their work
