About the role :
Reporting directly to the Bakery Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operation of the store's bakery department to ensure smooth operation. Responsibilities include managing and coaching the team, completing production, actioning orders, generating rosters, and more.
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate :
* Fresh food retail knowledge (preferred but not essential)
* Ability to supervise a team
* Understanding of ordering, cost control, and gross profit
* Accurate team member rostering
* Passion and enthusiasm with a hands-on approach
* Commitment to customer service
* Ability to liaise with team members and management
* A flair for merchandising
* Commitment to work health and safety standards
