Accurate Payroll Officer Position

We are seeking an experienced Accurate Payroll Officer to join our team on a 9-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Group Payroll Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

* Audit and Reconciliation: Validate and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy.
* Payroll Processing: Accurately process weekly and monthly payrolls in accordance with company deadlines and procedures.
* Employee Entitlements: Calculate and process employee entitlements, including overtime, leave, and termination payments.
* Data Management: Input and update employee information, including onboarding and offboarding details.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Payroll, ideally working in a business of similar size, and possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will also have a strong desire to learn, with good problem-solving skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).

About the Role:

This is a mid-senior level position within our Human Resources department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate processing of payroll data, compliance with Australian taxation laws, superannuation regulations, and other legislative requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* 2-3 years+ Payroll experience
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* A desire and willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving skills
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
* Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, including taxation and superannuation
