Mildura Fruit Company packs and markets a full range of citrus fruit sourced from more than 120 growers across the Sunraysia, Riverland and Riverina regions. Our fruit is supplied to domestic and international markets worldwide.
With decades of industry experience, we have grown from a citrus-focused business into a leading exporter of a wide range of fresh produce.
About the Opportunity
We are now seeking Expressions of Interest for the upcoming season across a variety of operational roles. These positions suit people who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.
On-the-job training will be provided, and no previous experience is required for many roles.
Important Information
* Applicants must have unlimited right to work in Australia.
* Applicants must have their own steel capped safety boots.
* Successful applicants will be required to complete pre‐employment medical and/or drug and alcohol testing.
* The cost of the medical will be paid by the applicant and reimbursed upon commencement.
Available Roles May Include
Production Workers, covering positions such as:
* Pack Operator
* Sorter
* Quality Control
* Stacker
* Bin Scanning
* Pallet Tally Clerk / Strapper Operator
* Shed Hand – Auto Pack Area
* Label Machine Attendant
* Carton Erector
Additional opportunities may be available for:
* Forklift Operators
* Team Leaders
The purpose of these roles is to ensure product is processed, packed and dispatched safely and efficiently.
Skills & Attributes
* Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
* Willingness to learn and take on different tasks
* Good communication skills
* Positive and enthusiastic attitude
* Ability to work varying shifts on a rotating roster, including day and night shifts
* Physically fit and able to stand, move and lift as required
